Brain imaging
Your brain controls everything you do, even when you’re asleep. There are lots of different parts of the brain, and each part has a particular job. We can use brain imaging methods to measure brain activity and learn about the brain.
Brain imaging methods allow us to:
Understand the relationships between brain areas and the role they play in our behaviours, emotions, decisions, etc.
Identify how the function and structure of brain areas change as we grow up.
There are several ways we can measure brain activity. Our lab uses functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging (fMRI) and Electroencephalography (EEG).
