Adolescent Developmental Neuroscience

iRise lab - Goals: Examine the factors that underlie wellbeing throughout development, especially during adolescence. We are interested in understanding why adolescence is associated with positive outcomes in some people and life-long negative outcomes for others.

As part of the COVID-19 Psychological Research Consortium study (COVID-19 PRCS) we have started studying the impact of Covid-19 on young people aged 13-24. Our focus has centred on the impact of the pandemic on increasing social, economic, and health inequalities and the long-term impact on the wellbeing, education, and future prospects of young people.
